As SEARAC’s Board Treasurer, I bring a unique perspective as the son of refugees and now the father of a second generation Southeast Asian American. I have a responsibility to ensure that our children and future generations will not have to endure the same struggles, challenges, and barriers that our refugee and immigrant parents had to overcome.
With your partnership, SEARAC is supporting future generations of Southeast Asian Americans. We are developing a leadership pipeline of advocates who demand better data on SEAA student needs and outcomes, culturally and linguistically appropriate health care, and an end to unjust immigration policies.
