Support historically underfunded SEAA communities

Today is our last day of our Week of Giving, and we are so proud that SEARAC has achieved our goal of raising $20k in five days! A heartfelt thank you to the 105 of you who have helped raise $20,826 this week and to send our appreciation to all of our donors who have supported our work this year.

Your donation matters so much to us. Current research shows for every $100 awarded by foundations for work in the United States, only 20 cents is designated for AAPI communities.

We are inspired by donors like Nancy, who knows first-hand the importance of donating to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations. “I love being Asian American and am so proud of my Vietnamese heritage. I am the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants and know well the effects of American imperialism on Southeast Asian American communities. I want to support my people and my communities as much and as often as I can. Through my work in fundraising, I am acutely aware of how little philanthropy is dedicated to AAPI causes and issues.”
