Jazmin (she/her) is SEARAC’s Field Associate where she serves as a convenor, trainer, and relationship builder for our SEARAC community. Jazmin holds a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
Through her experiences in student organizing, AmeriCorps, workforce development, and systems change, she has found a passion in serving others. This passion is rooted in her background as a 1.5 generation Lao-American which influences her values surrounding community care. Jazmin currently resides in Los Angeles, CA but was born and raised in Nashville, TN where she grew up to embrace her bi-cultural and bi-racial identity.
Outside of community work, Jazmin enjoys being outdoors hiking or camping, working on crafts such as crocheting or sewing, reading fiction, and spending time with friends.
