Danny is SEARAC’s Field Manager, supporting leadership development and unlocking the power of people. As Field Manager, Danny (he/him) applies his dedication to community empowerment to advance leadership development and advocacy.
Danny was born and raised in San José, California, and neighborhoods that leveraged its strengths as a community of immigrants and working class people of color. His parents are caretakers of the next generation and grocers that connect the community to local produce and goods.
Danny received his B.S. in Economics at San Jose State University. Prior to joining SEARAC, Danny was a community organizer working with multi-faith communities, tenants, and unhoused communities to help improve living conditions and enhance public safety.
When he’s not working, Danny is outdoors–either mountain biking or hiking with his two dogs, Bruce and Riley. He is decent in the kitchen and will chop vegetables or wash the dishes whenever there’s a gathering.
