Medium is oils on canvas. This painting is the first in a series of three, with the other two soon to be completing the cycle.
"One fall day with the sun glistening though the leaves I began to contemplate the meaning and journey of life. The thought of how to portray this concept in visual form created an interesting challenge. I decided on a "realistic" approach to my painting. Using the symbol of a one way sign wrapped in paper symbolizes that after ones life is wrapped up, we either travel up or down."
