Of program areas receiving funding, only 5 were reported by 40 or more of the surveyed organizations:
- Celebrations (55)
- Interpretation/Translation Services (54)
- Cultural Preservation (49)
- Advocacy (45)
- Civic Engagement/Voter Reg. (43)
Although 55 organizations reported receiving funding to stage community celebrations, several survey respondents reported that major contributions were from individuals within the communities. Many programs at the organizations surveyed were operated primarily on a volunteer basis, and not supported by specific funding.
