Our first ever "Run for SEARAC" fundraiser results!

Run for SEARAC team raises over $2K for SEARAC!

With a $2,000 goal, five dedicated runners, months of training, and a community of supporters to thank, we are proud to announce that our first ever "Run for SEARAC" fundraiser was a success!

Our team joined an estimated 23,000 people to participate in the Run Long Beach races that took place on Sunday, October 9th. Their goal was to raise $2,000 to help support SEARAC in raising awareness about issues that affect Southeast Asian American communities. "While the run was challenging, we got by on the support of friends, family and our belief in the mission of SEARAC to empower communities to create a socially just society," says Rattana Yeang of the Run for SEARAC team. Each of our runners were able to complete their individual races and ended up raising over $2,500, exceeding their fundraising goal.

Of course, it could not have happened without our supporters and donators. "The Run for SEARAC team would like to thank every single one of you who supported and donated to the run," says Yeang. "We hope you will join us again next year to make this event even bigger and better!"
