Created in 1995 by the Asian Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) and other nation wide health agencies, the main purpose of APIHIN is to provide local MAAs a network area to disseminate, exchange, and share health information about and on the Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) communities across the country. MAAs that have pertinent health information, policies, services, and resources to the APIA, especially in the Southeast Asian American (Cambodian, Hmong, Lao, and Vietnamese communities), are encouraged to make their programs accessible through APIHIN.
