SEARAC would like to thank our sponsors, honorees, and supporters for attending the SEARAC gala, “Beyond Refugees: From Flight to Setting Roots” held on September 17, 2005. With their support, we can continue to provide programs to assist the Southeast Asian community with leadership training, capacity building, and community empowerment.
Our community awardees for the evening: Loung Ung, Yong Kay Moua, Torm Nompraseurt, Dr. Houng Tran Nguyen, and Catherina Nou represented a broad array of achievements in the Southeast Asian community. Through many individuals such as the awardees, the Southeast Asian community is indeed contributing tremendously to America. Overall, the evening was a great success due in large part to the presence of the many individuals supportive of the Southeast Asian communities. We thank you for your support, care, faith, and trust in SEARAC.
